Obituary of Ronald Strouth

RICH VALLEY, VIRGINIA: RONALD (RON) B. STROUTH, age 66, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at his home. Mr. Strouth was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Susie Strouth; brothers, Johnny Strouth and Wayne Strouth; sister, Darlene Schultz. Ron is survived by his wife of 12 years, Betty Horne Strouth; sons, Daren and friend Tasha, Matt and friend Jessica; daughters, Pam Holmes and husband Payton, Jessy Houchins and husband Allen; step children, Jamie Harris and wife Jeannie, Steve Harris and wife Shannon, Brandy Combs and husband Justin; grandchildren, Katie, Kimmie, Samii, Payton Jr., Isabella and Easton; step-grandchildren, Lakin, Kady, Darby, Josh, Amy, Kaelyn, Preston and Isaac; sisters, Slyvia Waddell and husband Harold, Shirley Cassell and husband Woody, Maxie Anderson; friend and mother of children, Cathy Strouth; a special nephew, Hunter Barger and several nieces and nephews; special friends, Don Robbins and Jeff Robbins. Ron was a loving and devoted husband, father, papaw and friend to many. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Todd Porter and Reverend Andy Parkey officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service. Graveside service will be held Monday, May 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgedale Cemetery.
