Janie was such an amazing woman. She was always so giving to those around her. I remember when my oldest son Aaron was just 7 or 8 and Janie would always spoil him with treats and gifts. One Easter Sunday we visited her house and she had some kittens to give away. Of course we had to take one and Aaron was so excited. Janie would ask us every time we saw her how that little cat was doing. She couldn't bear to have to send them to the pound and was so happy when we took him home with us. She was a kind and giving lady who will be missed.

Special thoughts and prayers to John, Matthew and Jennifer and to all the family who love and will miss Janie. Such a kind and beautiful Lady with caring words when they were needed. We recall the times she advised what we should do when there were "accidents" and when stitches and shots were needed. I especially appreciate the times she would be on duty at the Emergency Room when we had to take my Mother in for care. A loss for all of us.

Dear Matt and Jennifer and family, we are so sorry to hear about your loss. Janie was a wonderful friend and always had a kind word to say to everyone. Not only did we know her from our work places, but she was a wonderful nurse and took excellent care of our family when in the hospital....we will always think of her as the perfect example of those who are chosen to be nurses and caregivers. God bless you and keep you during your grief. Your memories will become your treasures

Janie was such a special part of our lives, as well as an extremely vital part of the life of Marion Baptist Church. We miss her greatly! She was a good friend and did so many wonderful things. May the good memories surround you. We will treasure the lovely and kind Easter card that she sent to Mark in Texas. Love, Linda and Mark
