Obituary of Wanda Henson

MARION, VIRGINIA: WANDA CAROL RICHARDSON HENSON, age 63 died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Smyth County Community Hospital. Wanda was best known for her kindness and generosity. If you knew her, you know she never met a stranger and was always caring for others. She was a friend in the best kind of way. Even when she wasn't able, she would continue to do her best taking care of others. Her favorite people in the world were her family and her closest friends were Abby, Cody, Rowdy, Daisy, Miley and Meme, her dogs. She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Michelle Henson Vaught of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one son, Timothy Michael Henson; one sister, Rita Gray Richardson Herda all of Marion, Virginia; one brother, Harold Ray Richardson of Sykesville, Maryland; seven grandchildren, Ashley Gray Guy, Kimberly Christine Vaught, Sarah Elizabeth Henson, Kaitlin Grace Vaught, Hannah Gray Henson, Parker Andrew Henson and Levi Graceson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mark Totten officiating. Burial will follow in Attoway Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
