Obituary of Elizabeth Robinson

MARION, VIRGINIA: ELIZABETH LOU VERNE KELL ROBINSON, age 82, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Virginia. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Chilhowie Church of God most all of her life. She was the Adult Sunday School Class Secretary for many years. She was devoted to her church and her family, as she would call her children everyday to make sure they and her many grandchildren were doing well. As a mother, she continued to care for them until her final days. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Robinson, Sr.; parents, Lon and Rebecca Kell; brother and sister-in-law, H.A. and Gay Nell Kell. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Taylor and husband, Larry of Marion, Virginia; two sons, Ervin Robinson Jr., and wife, Libby of Chilhowie, Virginia and Roger Robinson and wife, Kay of Marion, Virginia; six grandchildren, Larry Taylor, Jr., Roger Robinson, Jr., Jason Robinson, Lesia Harris, Sonya Haga and Kelly Barbrow; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Adam Blackwell and Doug Haga officiating. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery in Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
