Obituary of William Sawyers

MARION, VIRGINIA: WILLIAM H. SAWYERS JR., age 59, of Marion, Virginia went to his Heavenly home Sunday, March 23, 2014. William was a disabled Veteran having served in the United States Army. He loved God, his country and his family. He is survived by his wife of twenty four years, Dona R. Sawyers of Marion. He is also survived by his parents, William Sr. and Joan Sawyers of Marion, Virginia; his three sisters, Vicki Baldwin, Sherri Frye and husband, Sammy, all of Marion, Virginia and his youngest sister, Robin McKinnon and husband, Darrel of North Carolina. William is also survived by four aunts, two uncles and many cousins and their families, three nieces and one nephew and two great nieces. He is survived by his stepson/adopted brother-in-law, Charles J. Raleigh of West Virginia. He leaves behind his 16 pound cat named Bo and a host of friends that knew him by Billy.
