Obituary of William Evans

MARION, VIRGINIA: WILLIAM PAUL EVANS, age 79, died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Evans was born in Pageton, West Virginia and preceeded in death by his first wife, Willie Mae Evans. He had been involved in the operations of Evans Distributing Company for over 60 years. He loved to travel and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Paul is survived by his wife, Jeanie Evans; two sons, William Paul Evans (Bill) Jr. and wife Yvonne, and Tom Evans; one daughter Mary Ann Havens and husband Roger; grandchildren, Julie Umbarger, William Paul Evans III (Billy), Rebecca Garst, Adam Evans and Justin Havens; great-grandchildren, Miranda Umbarger, Gracie Umbarger, Charlie Umbarger, Morgan Havens and Maggie Evans; one brother, Fred Evans and wife Beverley. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Mr. Alan Baldwin officiating. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Mausoleum.
