Obituary of Polly Sturgill

MARION, VIRGINIA: POLLY ANN STURGILL, age 82, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Health Center of Merritt Island in Merritt Island, Florida. Polly was a woman of faith; whose strength and love kept her family together. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. "Whitie" Sturgill and a son, Michael Ray Sturgill. Polly is survived by her daughter, Dee Sturgill of Columbus, Ohio; son, Charles E. Sturgill, Jr. and wife, Cynthia Lou of Mims, Florida; sister, Janette Peacock of St. Ann, Missouri; six grandchildren, Charles William Sturgill, Elizabeth Sturgill, Danielle Sturgill, Christy Lynn Sturgill, Charles Edward Sturgill, III and Curtiss Daniel Sturgill; seven great-grandchildren, Stella Blue Sturgill, Charles William Sturgill, Jr., Marleigh Rae Sturgill, Emma Mae McDavid, Charles James "CJ" Sturgill, Catrina Sturgill and Belle Mia Vatalaro. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Falling Water Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Creasy officiating. Burial will follow in Attoway Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Falling Water Baptist Church.
