Obituary of Donna Martin

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: DONNA MARIE MARTIN, age 59, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie Virginia. Donna had worked at Brunswick and General Dynamics for over twenty years. Her grandchildren were the world to her, as well as her beloved dogs. She is survived by her husband, Michael W. Martin of Sugar Grove, Virginia; two sons, Shannon Martin of Marion, Virginia and Jason Martin and wife, Barbara Wyatt of Sugar Grove, Virginia; daughter-in-law, Angie Hockett of Atkins, Virginia; two sisters, Velda Rivera of Ohio and Beatrice Gwinn of West Virginia; two brothers, Arthur Sloan of Chilhowie, Virginia and Ray Sloan of Pennsylvania, half-brother, Donnie Sloan of Rainelle, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Justin Martin, Matthew Martin, Kayla Gilley and David Wilson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Billy Gwinn officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
