Obituary of Fay Clear
MARION, VIRGINIA: FAY MONTGOMERY CLEAR, age 90, widow of James Clarence Clear, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in Wythe County Community Hospital, Wytheville, Virginia. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and retired from Southwestern State Hospital as a registered nurse after many years of service. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Bob Rose of Silver Spring, Maryland. Two sisters, Okla Montgomery Blevins of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia, and Jewel Jean Fields of Johnson City, Tennessee. One granddaughter, Adrian Rose of New York, New York. Two nieces, Teresa Tilson and husband, Roy, and Lisa O'Connor and husband, Dominic. One nephew, Roger Fields and wife, Tina. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Jeff Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Van Replacement Fund, First United Methodist Church, 115 South Church Street, Marion, Virginia 24354.
