Obituary of Edith Wymer

MARION, VIRGINIA: EDITH "DEEDY" CORINE ROUSE WYMER, age 82, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at her home in Marion Virginia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. After a short battle with cancer, she now rests in the arms of her loving Savior. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Sue Wymer Morrison. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles E. "Cueball" Wymer of Marion, Virginia, five children and their spouses, Charles W. Wymer and wife Carolyn of Richlands, Virginia, Mike Wymer and wife Linda of Marion, Virginia, Becky Wymer Ewald and husband Clay of Marion, Virginia, Steve A. Wymer and wife Bev of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Christy W. Hutton and husband Steve, of Marion, Virginia; two brothers, Freddie Rouse of Marion, Virginia and Ellis Rouse of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia; twelve grandchildren, Matthew and Mira Wymer, Adam and Allison Wymer, Wendy and Jeff Webb, Amy Wymer, Joshua and Sarah Morrison, Geoffrey Morrison, David and Bekka Ewald, Tyler and Allison Ewald, Anna and Timmy Spencer, Ryan Wymer, Amanda Wymer, and Corey Beth Hutton; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Steve Hutton and Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Fork Cemetery, Chilhowie, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
