Obituary of Samantha Shupe

CERES, VIRGINIA: SAMANTHA GAIL SHUPE, age 13, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia after a brave battle against Cystic Fibrosis. She is survived by her parents, Johnny and Susan H. Shupe; two brothers, John H. Shupe, Jr. and Travis C. Shupe, all of Ceres, Virginia; two sisters, Pam Harris and husband, Stevie, and Peggy Anderson and husband, Christopher Royer, both of Marion, Virginia; two nieces, Ashley Harris and Tiffany Surber; three nephews, Stevie Harris, Ethan Royer and Owen Royer; ten uncles; seven aunts; three great-uncles; three great-aunts; several cousins; and many special friends including Allison Delp, Brittany Delp, Tiffany Lafferty, Kasey Bowman, Lindsey Brown, JoAnn Atkins, Sylvia Sadler, John and Regina Lindsey and Sherman Harris. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Doug Haga and Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Community Cemetery in Nebo, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel or at anytime at the home of Sherman Harris in Nebo, Virginia.
