Obituary of Emma Lambert

MARION, VIRGINIA: EMMA GENE PICKLE LAMBERT, age 94, died Friday, November 08, 2013 at Rockingham County Hospice Home in Wentworth, North Carolina. She was born March 26, 1919 in Smyth County, Virginia to the late Benton Crockett and Ollie Mae Trail Pickle. Emma was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marion, Virginia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph E. Lambert. Emma is survived by two sons, James E. "Jim" Lambert and William G. "Bill" Lambert, both of Reidsville, North Carolina; and one sister, Patsy Crouse and husband, Algie of Marion, Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Mr. Brian Cregger officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
