Obituary of Dennis Call

Dennis Wayne Call, age 73, of Atkins, Virginia, passed away peacefully after a brave battle with Lung Cancer in Norfolk, Virginia, with his family by his side on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Dennis was a devoted husband for over 40 years to the late Dreema Ann Lewis Call. Dennis was born July 25, 1940, to the late Emory and Virginia Ann Heatherington Call of Saltville, Virginia. He loved sports, playing golf, fishing, the beach, spending time with his family and friends, going to church and serving others. He was a lifelong member of Davis Memorial United Methodist Church in Atkins, Virginia, and he was a faithful supporter of St Jude's Children's Hospital. He retired after 30 plus years from Marley Moldings. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Michelle Lynn Call Turner (husband George Turner) of Gray, Tennessee; his son, Michael Hutchison "Hutch" Call (wife Susan Call) of Norfolk, Virginia; his sister, Mary Lee Call Adams of Bristol, Virginia; grandchildren, Cameron, Brice and Luke Call, and Hannah Harrison; Nieces, Crystal Vincent of Glenn Allen, Virginia, Melody Hogston of Marion, Virginia; Nephews, Gary Bostic of Marion, Virginia and Jackie Bostic of Chilhowie, Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to: Freda H.
