Obituary of Dorothe Parlier

ATKINS, VIRGINIA: DOROTHE WILSON PARLIER, age 89, died, October 20th in Smyth County Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Parlier of Atkins; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Teresa and Andrew Gallacher of Atkins, Denise and Mike Williams of Marion, Susan Reid of Seven Mile Ford; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Martha Parlier of Atkins; grandchildren, Emily and Shane Sledd of Wytheville; Olivia Williams of Marion, Aaron Parlier of Boone, NC, Andrew and Sonya Parlier of Stuarts Draft; and great grandsons, Grant and Justin Parlier. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Reverend Bill Schoeneman officiating. A private burial will follow at the mausoleum of Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Red Cross, 14298 Lee Highway, Bristol, VA 24202.
