Obituary of Dixie Weber

ATKINS, VIRGINIA: DIXIE VANDERGRIFF WEBER, age 92 Dixie Vandergriff Weber died Friday, October 18, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Weber is preceded in death by her husband, Norman J. Weber; her father and mother, Henry W. and Sonia Orlova Vandergriff; one brother, Philip Vandergriff; and one sister, Jeanette Moser. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Philip W. and Marcia Weber of Springfield, Illinois, and Don W. and Judy Weber of Troy, Illinois; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Betty Bowling, of Rural Retreat, Virginia, and Rebecca Painter and husband Tim of Fackler, Kentucky; one brother and two sisters in-law, Paul and Mae Vandergriff of Atkins, Virginia, and Frances (Mrs. Philip) Vandergriff of Roanoke, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 22, at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel, with the Rev. Eddie Beck & Rev. Hank Vandergriff officiating. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Rosewood Memorial Garden, Rural Retreat, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
