Obituary of Robert Sexton

RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA: ROBERT DALE SEXTON, age 55, died Friday October 4, 2013 at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. Mr. Sexton was a member of the Baptist faith who dearly loved the Lord. He was a construction worker and avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Sexton is survived by his wife, Barbara Wyatt Sexton of Rural Retreat, Virginia; seven sisters, Frances Armstrong of Maine, Alma Jo Sexton of Flatridge, Virginia, Betty Martin, Anna Chandler and Mary Ring all of Galax, Virginia, Janet Johnson of Marion, Virginia and Angie Paisley of Hiddenite, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Jay Overbay officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
