Obituary of Bertha Vipperman

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: BERTHA LUCILLE VIPPERMAN, Age 78, Died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at her sister's home in Sugar Grove, Virginia. Miss Vipperman, the daughter of the late Frank and Nanny Prillaman Vipperman, was born on September 2, 1934 in Chatham Hill, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Richard Vipperman. She was a hard worker whose calm and pleasant disposition in all seasons was a joy to those who knew her. Miss Vipperman was also a great cook and had lovingly cared for her parents. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by two sisters Ruth Ann Copenhaver of Sugar Grove, Virginia and Mary Pauline Vaught of Rural Retreat, Virginia; six nephews and two nieces; and her devoted pet dog and companion, Rock. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel, with the Reverend Kenny Price and the Reverend Steven Lester officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Blue Springs Cemetery, Camp, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel or at anytime at the home of her sister, Ruth Ann Copenhaver.
