Obituary of Anna Price

Anna Smith Price, age 89, of Sparta, NC, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Genesis Healthcare in Sparta, NC She was born November 1, 1923 at Roaring Gap, NC to Oscar Orton Smith Sr., and Minnie Ruth Reeves She was the widow of Ben T. Price. Surviving, one brother, James A. Smith of Independence, VA; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Antioch United Methodist Church in Roaring Gap, NC. Internment in the church cemetery with Rev. Bob Miller and David VanHoy officiating. There will not be a visitation, however, following the service the family will gather in the fellowship hall of the church for food and fellowship.
