Obituary of Barbara Burse

MARION, VIRGINIA: BARBARA JONES BURSE, age 84, died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Virginia. She was born August 14, 1928 in Christiansburg, Virginia to the late Reginald and Mable Roop Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marvin Burse; son, Leslie E. Martin and daughter, Linda Martin Jackson. Mrs. Burse is survived by one sister Anne Jones Gray of Richmond, Virginia; one brother, Reginald M. Jones II of Christiansburg, Virginia; and several cousins. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Herman Cress officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery in Camp, Virginia.
