Obituary of Hubert King

MARION, VIRGINIA: HUBERT "DON" KING, SR. age 73, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Virginia. Don was an outgoing gentleman who never met a stranger and was loved by all. He enjoyed golfing and loved country music. He is survived by one daughter, Tina Ashby of Roanoke, Virginia; two sons, Timothy Duaine King and wife Shirley of Pulaski, Virginia and Hubert "Donny" King, and wife, Ruth of Rural Retreat, Virginia; three sisters, Edith McNeeley of Akron, Indiana; Bonnie Harner of Hampstead, Maryland and Ruby Poore of Roanoke, Virginia; six grandchildren, Michael Shane King, Christopher Donald King, Kiana Nicole King, J.J. Ashby, Megan Ashby and Tyler King; and one great grandchild, Aleah Grace King. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel, Marion, Virginia. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Pulaski, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
