Dear family of Clara Nell: We were so sorry to hear of her passing. She was so important to our father after our mother's passing. Clara Nell opened his world and made his last years joyful! She always embraced our family and made us feel like we were her own children! Surely she is in heaven reunited with all her friends and family who went before her. Long distance hugs to you all...

It gives me comfort to know that Grandma Jane, was there to meet Aunt Clara Nell for her great arrival. The sisters are together again giggling like they always have.

I had the opportunity to know Mrs. Estep through my dear friend and her grandson, Philip. I am sad for her loss but know she has left many loving memories for her family and friends. Philip, you had a special grandmother and she raised a remarkable person!

To all of Clara Nell's family: I was with regret that we read of Clara Nell's death. We had heard at Bill Greenwoods funeral of her health problems. We remember with great fondness the many memories we have of the family while living in Marion, especially the relations thru the church and the many personal relations with all of you. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Estep in person, ( am a long- time friend of her grandson phlip) she has always held a special place in my heart based on our years of correspondence. Aunt Clara Nell was a such a warm, loving, and classy lady. We nieces always loved it when she came back to Michigan to visit the "up north" kin. She had such a wonderful laugh and it was always great to see Aunt Clara Nell, Dad and Aunt Jane reminiscing. Family potluck picnics at Stevens Lake were a highlight when Aunt Clara Nell was visiting. Aunt Clara Nell, Dad and Aunt Jane swam at Stevens Lake long before we did. We grew up swimming there; our children and grand children are now swimming and making memories at Stevens Lake. We send love and sympathy to Bob, Jim, Susie, and Carol. Your mom will be deeply missed. We wish you comfort and peace in the upcoming months. Your Michigan cousins: Elizabeth, Jane, Jean, Sue, and Val.

My main memory Of Aunt Clara Nell is how she and her sister Jane, my mom, would laugh so much when they were together. They always had so much fun. All of the Michigan relatives loved Clara Nell. She was special and will be missed by all. My condolences to Jim, Bob, Sue, and Carol.
