Obituary of Michael Sturgill

MARION, VIRGINIA: MICHAEL RAY STURGILL, age 57, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at his home in Marion, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward "Whitey" Sturgill; and a son, Michael Ray Sturgill, Jr. Mr. Sturgill is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Sturgill and Danielle Sturgill; one son, Charles William Sturgill and Cherub, all of Marion, Virginia; mother, Polly Ann Sturgill of Mims, Florida; sister, Dee Sturgill of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Charles E. Sturgill, Jr. and wife, Cynthia Lou of Mims, Florida; grandchildren, Stella Blue Sturgill, Charles William Sturgill, Jr., Marleigh Rae Sturgill, Emma Mae McDavid; niece, Christy Lynn Sturgill; nephews, Charles Edward Sturgill, III and Curtiss Daniel Sturgill. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Haymaker and Reverend Gary Trout officiating.
