Obituary of Doris Hendrick

MARION, VIRGINIA: DORIS JEAN HENDRICK, age 83, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter E. and Opal Hendrick of Roanoke, Virginia; sisters, Lillian Francis Hendrick, and Lucille H. Garris. Doris is survived by her brother, Eugene Hendrick and wife, Letitia of Marion; nephews, W.E. "Gene" Hendrick, III of Berkley Heights, New Jersey and John P. Hendrick and his wife, Keary of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; niece, Vickie G. Vance and husband, Bill of Kingsport, Tennessee; and several grand nephews and grand-nieces. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Burial Park, 1307 Summit Avenue SW, Roanoke, Virginia with Reverend Jonathan Jonas officiating. There will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Food and Fellowship Program, First United Methodist Church, 115 South Church Street, Marion, Virginia 24354.
