Bonham Family, Please accept my deep heartfelt sympathy on the recent loss of your loved one. He will be missed by many. May the God of Comfort be with each of you during this most difficult time. May you find hope in these words, "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day." (John 6:40) As we wait on Jesus to fulfill the promised resurrection, I hope all the special memories that were shared sustain you in the days to come. Warm Christian Love

This was the first time in several years that our famiiy was able to travel from Delaware to Virginia to attend the annual family reunion due to illnesses. The Lord provided us with the strength and guidance that we needed. This was a the most remarkable, joyous, memorable reunion that we have ever had. Every family member and their families attended. It was so good to see everyone talking, reminising, laughing, praying and eating together. This will always be the most memorable family reunion for our family. We had the priviledge to have Ralph sit next to us to eat. We had one of th BEST converstions ever in our lives. I will cherish Ralph's memories for my comfort. His sons and daugter in law were there and you could just feel the love they had for one other. He was a good husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He hit it right off with my husband because they are both big jokester. He met my baby granddaughter Maranne and he made her feel like he knew her his whole life. Made her feel very much wanted, welcomed and comfortable, since it was her first time. Well then the reunion came to a sad, crying ending. Our family and Ralph had a nice talk and we all had premanitions and we told each other this will probably be our last time seeing each other. We cried hysterically, kissing, Ralph walked us to the vehicle and no one wanted to let go. We must say that we are so THANKFUL and GRATEFUL that the Lord let us say our last goodbyes to one another. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!THANK YOU OUR HEAVENLY FATHER!!!!!WE PRAISE YOUR HOLY NAME!!!HALLEAUH!!!!!AMEN

Well Neice Diane was a city slicker wanna be hillbillie from Delaware and Uncle Ralph was a hillbillie country boy from Virginia. I always looked forward for our family vacation in July/August of every year. Ralph & I was just about the same age, as well as Aunt Wanda. When we were youngins we were onry and got into everything..We would take a bucket and go barefooten out to the creek to catch toads and minnos. We went into the old barn and jumped in he bales of hay..We would chase the chickens just to hear them cluck, run, and spread there wings. That all was just some down home fun. Ralph always cracked jokes and we just laughed and laughed. When we got a little older we went to bigger things like milking the cows, which he made me do and he rolled over laughing so hard at me, which I didnt think anything was funny cause I didn't like it.The cows would chase us from up on the hill. I never knew I could run so fast, but I tripped and just rolled down the hill and what else there was Ralph just laughing at me. He wasn't afraid of anything so I looked at him as my HERO. I was petrified to walk to the outhouse by myself at night, so he always took me to keep me safe, but he had to still joke and laugh at me. We got older so then we went to more bigger things like spotting deer. We could drive at this time. I was so scared to death. We were on real pitch black roads that you couldn't even see in front of us. That was the first time in my life I ever did that and guess what it was my last..When I would come down the next year, he would say hey Diane ready to go spotting deer. I replied without any hesitation NO!!!!!!Then the time came when we sat around the table with a few others and would drink some alcohol, told jokes, laughed till we cried..We both got married to our better halfs and our good times from the past came to a halt, but then we just sat around talking about our good old times and laugh with each other. We would say Do you remember when we ????????????Good and Bad it was all out of having fun and loving family times together.. I will always and forever remember Ralph's wonderful sense of humor, making me laugh, and making everyone smile. He was a BLAST to just be around. Uncle Ralph and I made alot of memories together that I will hold dear to my heart forever. Bye the way the end of this story is every time I think of im I laugh. I love and miss you..

This was a game that Ralph and I played when we were growing up. This was what we had to ask the person before we moved. One day while playing after I had moved away and came back to visit, we were playing the game and I said May I and then (just imagine your worst) embarrassment our surprise, and the last time I talked to him we were just laughing and talking it about that, when he asked me if I was ready to play again.

July 2012 Family reunion weekend, he told me something that his doctor had said to him, the 4 x 4 x 10 plan. This is one that I will always remember and share as needed.

There are not enough words to express our heartfelt sympathy and no words can help ease the pain that you and your family are feeling right now. Peace, blessings and prayers are with you all. While its going to be very difficult to think of this world without him,he is in our heavenly home spreading his laughter and happiness. Ralph brought us all so many happy times in our lives and left us with so many precious memories. Thank God for Ralph who made this life more beautiful. Amen
