Obituary of Lettie Young

MARION, VIRGINIA: LETTIE L. YOUNG, age 79, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 in Francis Marion Manor. Mrs. Young was of the Baptist faith and had served the public during her life. She waitressed formerly at Southside, Cliffside, Marion Diner, Pioneer and New Pioneer Restaurants. She loved life and most especially had a passionate love for her family. She is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Helen and Jackie Reedy of Troutdale, Virginia, Audrey Cozino of Spokane, Washington and Sandy Havens of Groseclose, Virginia; two sons, Joe Young of Marion, Virginia and Jimmy Young of Chilhowie, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Roger Dowell, Sarah Havens, Jamee Armstrong, Jessica Young, Elizabeth Havens, Allen Cozino, Angel Mello, and Rose Mead; eight great-grandchildren, Amanda Miller, Amber Dowell, Devin Dowell, Brianna Cozino, Brandi Cozino, Angela Mead, Macie Maggie Mead and Anthony Mello; several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Jones officiating. Private burial will be held at Grosses Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Chilhowie, Virginia. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
