I would like to tell each member of Faye's family that I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I pray that God will comfort you as no one else can. My mom worked with Faye for many years and they were good friends.I got to know her through my mom. I really loved Faye. She always brightened my day every time I saw her. Her and my husband used to goof off at work and I wondered when she was going to steal him from me. That is a joke, they liked to joke around as Faye did with everyone. Dan, I went to school with you and have chatted with you on fb, but I never knew that Faye was your mother. I am praying for strength and comfort for each of you.

Dearest Children, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing! I know you children don't remember me. You all were very small the last time I saw you! Faye and I were friends for years. We both got married the same time to our first husbands. I left, but your Mom stayed behind! She was always an upbeat person that would keep you laughing! I will truly miss Faye, she was a good friend for many years. I got to know her at Smyth county treasurer's office. We always had such good visits with her. She was so good to my handicapped daughter Jennifer, they took water aerobics together at town pool, was more laughing than exercise. She could turn a bad day into a great one. I know the family will miss her , a great lady.
