Obituary of Lena Cassell

CERES, VIRGINIA: LENA I. CASSELL, age 89, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Bland County Nursing and Rehab, Bastian, Virginia. She loved farming and animals. Lena is survived by her son, Danny Cassell and wife, Kathy of Ceres, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver, Sue Ellison. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Leon O'Quinn officiating. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ceres, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
