Obituary of Edith Taylor

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: EDITH REEDY TAYLOR, age 94, widow of Ray Taylor, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at her home in Sugar Grove, Virginia. She was a skilled musician and assisted her Dad in handcrafting banjos. Edith was the attendant at Ripshin, taking special care in keeping all of the artifacts in fine condition. She is survived by one son, Jack Taylor of Sugar Grove, Virginia; and one sister, Viola Pierce of Adwolfe, Virginia. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Burial will follow in Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
