Obituary of Ruby Wright

MARION, VIRGINIA: RUBY JANE WRIGHT, age 82, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Virginia. Ruby was born and raised in Grayson County, Virginia; January 12, 1930 to the late Elmer Lee and Virginia Baugess Eller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband, John Calvin "Kelly" Wright, Jr.; five sisters, Etta Lou, Hazel, Mildred, Ruth and Edith; and three brothers, Elmer Lee, Jr., Joe and Carroll. She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Wright of Marion, Virginia and Linda Wright Hanshew of Dandridge, Tennessee; two sons, John R. Wright and wife, Tammie of Young Harris, Georgia, and Mike Wright and wife, Tracy of Kingsport, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Jason Lefler, Justin Lefler, Shane Hanshew, Kalif Hanshew and Breanna Wright; five great-grandchildren, Hunter, Dylan, Kirsten, Trey, and Josa Lynn; and two special cats, Tiger and Teo. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Herman Cress officiating. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, October 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
