Obituary of Barbara Coe

MARION, VIRGINIA: BARBARA HAYES COE, age 68, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Barbara was employed with Blue Ridge Job Corp for over 22 years. She loved to paint and was a wonderful artist. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a former member of the Pilot Club. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Coe of Marion, Virginia; one daughter, Tammy Jones and husband David of Meadowview, Virginia; three stepdaughters, Judith Coe of Marion, Virginia, Cindy Harmon and husband Dr. John W. Harmon Jr. of Chilhowie, Virginia, and Donna Rose of Mountain City, Tennessee; one stepson, John S. Coe of Marion, Virginia; three sisters, Jeane Walls of Konnarock, Virginia, Brenda Blevins and Linda Hayes both of Damascus, Virginia. Several grandchildren, one special great-grandchild, Kaydon, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel, Marion, Virginia with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Marion. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
