I grew up down the street from William and Edith Jackson, and only got to know Franny after she and Bill married. She was a delightful personality and we had good times visiting in each others` homes. We will miss both Franny and Bill and send best wishes to their sons and the family. Oscar joins me in expressing our sympathy.

I have known Franny for over 70 years. Mary Lou has known her since high school. Franny and I used to walk home from school together when we were kids. We have always been the best of friends. She was one of the finest and most lovable people we have ever known. She was friendly, loyal honest, kind and just as beautiful inside as out. We are very sorry to learn of her passing, but glad to know her suffering is over. We will all miss her greatly.

Pat, Lettie, Thomas and Jeff It was my pleasure to have worked with Franny for almost 25 wonderful years. I loved her as a sister. You can bet she is probably planning a "heavenly beach" trip with the angels right now. Lovely person. Our condolences to all of you. Dixie (and Roger)

Pat and Jeff, your mom was the first neighbor to welcome me when Charlie and I were married. That big sweet smile is very vivid in my mind from our first meeting til the last hug at State Street Church. She never changed. A beautiful lady. God love and comfort be with you. Virginia Thompson

We were in High School with Franny. Gaynelle, Marybelle Yelton & Franny were almost inseparable. We dated with Franny & Buddy (or other) and had so much good clean fun, she was so upbeat and full of life, we loved her so. I was best man to Buddy at their wdding, Gay was in the wedding, she was in our wedding. Memories of those times are so great. Franny had a wonderful life and family,we are so glad. We celebrate her life and our good fortune of being a part of it. Heaven will be a better place because of her presence there. Franny, so sorry we didn't get that golf game in, will do it when we join you. Love you, Dean & Gay

I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Franny's passing. She was one of the sweetest, caring women I will never forget. I started working in the Clerk's Office with her, Ms. Kitty, Ms. Dixie, Mr. Warren, Alan, Tammy and Angie when I was 16 years old. It was my senior year of high school. These special people taught me a lot about life in my four years working with them. My fondest memory of Ms. Franny is when she made Tammy drive me to VHCC, in the middle of the day, and forced me to enroll in college right after high school and having just become a mother. She was adament that I was going to college! She gave me a lot of advice throughout the years about motherhood, being a young adult and work ethics and I will always be grateful. I remember her overwhelming and sheer happiness of becoming a grandmother to Thomas. She was loved by everyone. I have to agree, those three had an infectious laugh that would rattle the Courthouse walls. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Pat and Jeff, sorry for your loss of this great woman and mother. Don't think I ever saw her mad, even when we as kids Pat did crazy things. Hope you are comforted knowing that she is with her Lord, and will watch from above.
