Obituary of Vicki Patton

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: VICKI RENEE HAYES PATTON, age 43, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at her home in Sugar Grove, Virginia. She was a member of Brookside Baptist Church and an avid Alabama fan. Vicki believed in living her life in a way that inspired others, especially her family. She lost her battle with cancer, but she gained victory with Jesus. She was preceded in death by her father, Forest Hayes. Vicki is survived by her husband, Allen Patton of Sugar Grove, Virginia; two daughters, Amber Nicole Osborne of Ypsilanti, Michigan and Jessica Lynn Patton of Sugar Grove, Virginia; mother, Eva Hash Hayes, of Sugar Grove, Virginia; two brothers, Ronald Forest Hayes of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, and Michael Franklin Hayes and wife, Mary Ann of Chilhowie, Virginia; special niece, Jennifer Gallihugh and husband, Joe of Manassas, Virginia; one great-niece, Emma; one great-nephew, Kyle; special sister-in-law, Charlotte Hayes of Manassas, Virginia; and special friends, Shannon Frazier and Casey Buchanan. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Donald Medley officiating. A private burial will be held. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
