Obituary of Ann Cline
GROSECLOSE, VIRGINIA: ANN HOOFNAGLE CLINE, died Thursday, September 23, 2004 in Smyth County Community Hospital. Born in Atkins, Virginia, Mrs. Cline enjoyed teaching school in Smyth County for many years. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Edgar B. and Martha Purdy Hoofnagle, and two brothers, Henry H. Hoofnagle and James Edward Hoofnagle. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Greg Berry of Marion, Virginia. A granddaughter, Leah E. Ferguson of Radford, Virginia. One brother, William S. Hoofnagle and wife, Jay of Daytona Beach, Florida. A sister-in-law, Reba Hoofnagle of Atkins, Virginia. A special niece and nephew, Linda Hoofnagle and Joe Hoofnagle both of Atkins, Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 26, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Grady Byrd officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Lawn Mausoleum, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
