Obituary of Tessie Colgate

CHILHOWIE, VIRGINIA: TESSIE MARIE "PENNY" COLGATE, age 76, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ohmar Colgate. Mrs. Colgate is survived by two daughters, Barbara Totten of Chilhowie, Virginia and Joyce Davis and husband, Jerry of Marion, Virginia; three sons, Ronald Colgate and wife Amy, of Marion, Virginia, George Colgate, of Chilhowie, Virginia, and James Colgate of Saltville, Virginia; two sisters, Stella Johnson of Indiana, and Virginia Woods of Covington, Kentucky; three brothers, David Watson of Covington, Kentucky, Glen Watson of Bristol, Tennessee, and Louie Watson of Abingdon, Virginia; three grandchildren, Daniel Davis, Jonathan Totten and Sonja Totten and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Ernest Yeatts officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
