Obituary of Jo Bowman

RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA: JO LEE BOWMAN, age 72, died Thursday, October 11, 2012 at her home in Rural Retreat, Virginia. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Bowman. Jo Lee is survived by three children, William "Tinker" Bowman and wife, Missy of Marion, Virginia, Kathy Parks and husband, Steve of Rural Retreat, Virginia and Bruce Bowman and wife, Lisa of Marion, Virginia; twelve grandchildren, Lindsey Bowman, Kelly Burton, Michelle Hester, Stevie Parks, Shae Catron, Kristopher Bowman, Brittany Powers, Branson Bowman, Hilary Miller, Ashley Bowman, Chris Belcher and Bobbie Cox Combs. Six great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver- Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
