Obituary of Winnie Overbay

MARION, VIRGINIA: WINNIE GRACE POWERS OVERBAY, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the age of 101. She was born April 15, 1911; and was preceded in death by her husband, John Howard Overbay. Grace is survived by two sons, John David Overbay and wife, Joyce of Marion, Virginia; and Frank Wayne Overbay and wife, Margie of Vinton, Virginia; two grandchildren, Glenda and Adam Overbay; three great-grandchildren, Austin Woolwine and Seth and Sean Overbay; two sisters-in-law, Margaret and Christine Overbay; one brother-in-law, Curtis Oakes; and a host of nephews, nieces and many, many special friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor David Farmer and Reverend Billy Dean officiating. Private burial will be held at Round Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
