WILLIAM ODELL CLARK "Hippie", age 59, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Bristol Hospital. He was a truck driver, heavy equipment operator and had flea market items at several locations. Hippie liked to talk to anyone and never met a stranger. He was well known by his license tag, FLEA MAN and his logo, Hippie's Deals on Wheels. He was born September 20, 1950 in Russell County, Virginia. He was the son of Elijah Clark of Bristol, Virginia and the late Edna Cooper Clark. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Clark and one granddaughter, Hope Clark. Besides his father, he is survived by his ex-wife, Juanita Clark of Marion, Virginia; two sons, Sweet William Clark and wife Rachel of Marion, Virginia, William Dell Clark of Ohio; one daughter, Carolyn Clark of Ohio; two sisters, JoAnn Hooker of Bristol, Virginia, Ethel Kaywood of Bristol, Virginia; two granddaughters, Charity Clark and Jennifer Clark; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends. There will be a gathering of family and friends Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
