Obituary of Betty Atkins

ATKINS, VIRGINIA: BETTY JOAN ATKINS, age 76, died Friday, June 1, 2012 in Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, George Robert Atkins and a brother, George Robert Atkins, Jr. Betty is survived a sister, Patsy Edmonds and husband, Bud of Ashland, Virginia; brother, Johnny G. Atkins and wife, Dorothy of Atkins, Virginia; special niece, Melanie Ann Titmus and husband, Scott of Richmond, Virginia; several cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Minister Bill Edmonds officiating. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
