To the Dyson children: My mother, Ruth Shupe, and your mother worked together for many years and were great friends. When we moved to Richmond, I know they still kept up with each other, if only during the holidays. My mom, in my early years, spoke of "Edith" often and fondly. Faye, Fran, Debbie,and Joe, I haven't seen any of you in so many years but my mom sent me the obituary and I wanted to express my condolences. Mrs. Dyson lived a long, productive life and left a wonderful family behind. I have a lot of memories of her and I'm sure her family has many more wonderful memories. I'll be thinking of all of you.

I just wanted to send my love to the family, Mama Dyson was like a second mom to our family, she will always be remembered for the love that she gave to the Mays family. She opened up her home and let me dress there for my wedding and also other special occassions that I will never forget. I am sure she is with the Lord.
