What a wonderful woman this world has lost. I adored Mrs. Sparger- she was one of the kindest people I have ever known. It is hard to put into words the impact she had on everyone she met, but she did. I'm sure that Mr. Sparger, Rob, and Sarah were there to meet her. My sympathy to all her family; her passing was a great loss.

John & Becky,Merritt,Nancy, Sara I think you all know that I was gifted in this world to have two mothers: mine, and yours. I have so many memories of your mother that it is impossible to pin down one stand-out memory. She was the warmest and most generous person. Even with a house overrun with her children's friends, I think she always was the first person to welcome the next to arrive. (Which was never a long wait, given that The Sparger House was always the place to be!) We will miss her. You had a wonderful, and gracious mother. Robert

John, Becky and all, Our families were together for years, as we grew up in Marion and the Methodist chruch. Your mother always had a smile on her face and would always seem to be interested in everything I had to say. She was a lovely person and I know you will miss her. Love to all of you, Nancy

Many heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Sparger's family. MeeMama was the best......as far as I am concerned, she was a grandmother to me and my family. Her Mac 'n Cheese was the best in the world......she always welcomed Jay and his friends into her house for hot chocolate after sleigh riding in her yard....what a sweet and dear lady who will be missed immensely.......Sparger's and Staley's are the best families in the world.....very honored to be a part of the extended family.....
