I wonder if we may be related. My father had an older brother named Jimmy Blackwell who lived in Marion. I wonder if your deceased relative could be his son. My father's name was Benjamin Franklin Blackwell and he grew up in Saltville and worked at Olin as an accountant. He had several siblings including Mack Blackwell, Lucille Cuddy, Bill Blackwell and others. I am very sorry for your loss. If these names sound familiar, please let me know. I would like to get in touch with my Blackwell relatives. Thank you so much. Nancy Duncan

Shirley and family: Please accept my condolonces. I have fond memories of going to Francis Brothers with Dad who thought so highly of Jimmy - a friend for so many years. Mr. Blackwell was so nice to Gene and me as kids. One memory stands out: I remember him asking me to go buy him a bottle of soda pop from the Pepsi machine and said to get him anything I liked. When I returned with the bottle, he asked me to drink it for him. He was so nice. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
