Obituary of Sammie Evans

MARION, VIRGINIA: SAMMIE LEE EVANS, age 62, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Smyth County Community Hospital. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Evans of Marion, Virginia; daughters, Misty Gale Blizzard and husband, Chad, Kimberly Pauleen Johnson and husband, Jason and Kathy Lee Evans; son, Sammy Lee Evans, Jr. and wife, Rebecca; brothers, Thomas Evans and wife, Paula, Douglas Evans and wife, Sis, Arnold Cecil "A.C." Evans, Marvin Evans and Mason Evans; sisters, Mary "Sis" Kegley and husband, Dennis, Katherine Doane and Bessie Tilson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carlton and Nancy Craig, Joe and Cynthia Bennett, Henry and Christine Cook and Eddie and Jennifer Armstrong; grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Sabrina Johnson and Benjamin Blizzard; several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Graveside Services will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgedale Cemetery in Rich Valley, Virginia.
