I just learned of my cousin Michael's passing and wish Aunt Felcia and the family to know my prayers are with them. I have not kept in touch with my cousins, but wanted to let the family know I think of them so often. I would love to hear from anyone from my dad's family. Love to Aunt Felcia.

Fitchko Family . I am so sorry to hear of Mike passing. We worked togeather in the Fire Dept, and remained friends through the years. I came up and hunted with Mike at the Ponderosa , also stayed with Roger & Carol back in 1978 with Mike & Sue on a short trip. I have lots of good memories with Mike and His family. Dear Fitchco family, I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Ever since he moved to Marion I have wanted to see him . I went to school with him in West Virginia @ #9 and he is the only 1 I can remember. From reading this I feel he was a veery good person for so many fond memories of him. We all cherish our early memories of our friends and growing up in Gary hollow. It is very sad when we hear one of those friends is no longer with us. Michael was a great guy and a good friend. My sympathy to his family and friends.

What an unhappy day for me! And so many others. Felcia, Roger, Dennis -- I will celebrate a memorial Mass for Michael but will call you in the next week, as well. Freddie [Richardson] -- I thought of you when I learned about Michael. I suppose that unhappiness just jarrs the memories. "Let flying aeorplanes proclaim to the Heavens: He is dead!" To the Fitchko Family: I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the passing of your Father, Brother, Son, Uncle, Cousin and best of all a good friend. I lived in Filbert (Church Road) and frequently played games with Michael and the rest of the Filbert gang. Michael was a very well liked and genuine person who was a friend for life. This has touched his classmates and friends lives very deeply as one of ours has passed. The Filbert community was very close knit and we have always genunely cared for and loved each other. I hope he is at peace and knows that he has left a lasting impression on all of us. God Bless his immediate family and especially his Mother Michael (Bucky) Blasher proud graduate of Gary High School 1961 with Michael and friends.

I was very sad to hear about Michael. He was a classmate of mine. In our annual under his picture it reads, "The Prince of darkness is a gentleman". He was a sweet and kind person. May God be with him and with all of his family.

I guess Michael was one of the best friends a man/boy could have. I guess I saw or visited his home every day/ evening from the first grade right thru our senior year. We played. we hunted, we dated and even got in a little trouble together. His mother and father was like my own. Friends like Michael cannot be replaced and I shall miss him terribly. The Fitchko's lived across the street from us, at No. 9. I was close friends with his brothers Roger and Dennis, as we grew up together until they moved to Marion in the 60's. I considered Mike a good friend also, even though he was a little older than me. I will always remeber him in my thoughts and prayers...
