Obituary of Jacqueline Coe

MARION, VIRGINIA: JACQUELINE SUE POWELL COE, age 72, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Smyth County Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Hazel Irene Pugh and Sherrill Mason Powell both of Marion. "Jackie" as everyone knew her lived her life for her children which she loved more than anything on God's great earth. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Ray Coe. She is survived by her daughters, Judith Annette Coe of Tucson, Arizona, Cindy Coe Harmon and husband, Dr. John W. Harmon, Jr. of Chilhowie, Virginia, Donna Coe Rose of Mountain City, Tennessee; son, John Scott Coe of Marion, Virginia; two sisters, Brenda Tibbs of Marion, Virginia and Wanda Reedy of Rural Retreat, Virginia; six grandchildren, Heather Harmon, Kimberly Coe, Heidi Coe, Jesse Coe, Justin Rose, Christopher Coe; and one great-grandchild, Kaydon Coe. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 28, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Harry Howe officiating. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Marion. The family will receive friends Monday evening, from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service.
