Obituary of Raymond Able

MARION, VIRGINIA: RAYMOND "PETE" ABLE age 55, died Friday October 14, 2011 at Francis Marion Manor in Marion, Virginia. He was born October 16, 1955 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Raymond C. Able and Ruby Irene Slusher Wright. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Pete is survived by his wife, Ruth Rowland Able of Marion, Virginia; two sons, Mathew Able and Josh Able, both of Marion, Virginia; his mother, Ruby Irene Wright of Union, West Virginia; one brother, Paul Wright of Union, West Virginia; three step-brothers, Mike Reynolds, Danny Reynolds, both of Marion, Virginia and James Reynolds of Iaeger, West Virginia; one step-sister, Debbie Smith of Cedar Bluff, Virginia. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Donald Medley officiating. Burial will follow in Wassum Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by Francis Marion VFW Post #4667 with the presence of the Virginia Army National Guard Honor Team.
