Obituary of Eva Neitch

EVA PRICE NEITCH, age 72, died Friday, January 16, 2004 in University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Virginia. Born September 7, 1931 in Grayson County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lacy Blaine and Edith Finney Price. She retired as a nursing supervisor with 25 years of service at the Spring Grove Hospital in Catonsville, Maryland, and was a lover of the outdoors and animals, a devoted wife, sister, and an excellent cook. Eva was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 72 of Marion and the South Fork Baptist Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death one month ago by her husband of 52 years, Charles Wayne Neitch; a brother, David Mack Price; and a nephew, Bobby Price. She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Odell Sheets of Marion, Virginia. Six brothers and five sisters-in-law, Dean and Norma Price of Kernersville, North Carolina; Douglas and Peggy Price, Bill and Judy Price all of Marion, Virginia; Rev Robert and Judy Price of Charlottesville, Virginia; Rev. Kenny and Judy Price of Sugar Grove, Virginia; and Roy Price of Marion, Virginia. Several Nieces and Nephews including two special nephews, David and Scott, and a special niece, Teresa. Several great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of friends. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with her two brothers, Rev Robert Price and Rev. Kenny Price, and her pastor, Rev. Mark Totten officiating. Burial will follow in South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The Family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
